The first container template group we will create is the template that will be deigned to display the conference view properties to the regular user. This view will not display the item picker that the conference moderator will see.
Create a new Container Template named DocPublishing Reader CT
- Name the template DocPublishing Reader CT
- Assign the View/Resources property as Default Template View
Add a Preview Column to custom Columns
- Click on the Resources button to open the resources folder of the new container template.
- Click on the Custom Columns button to create a new Custom Column document
For the custom column schema
- Name the schema Preview
- Choose Use Default Schema and Columns
- Enter all fields as shown in the diagram
- Close and Save the form
- Close the Rules folder
Adjust the Model View
- On the Container template form, click on the Model View button to open the container template model view
- Adjust the columns so that the Preview column is positioned after the Subject field
- Reduce the width of the Name and Subject Columns
Variable Height Rows
With the model view still open,
- Right-Click on the list pane and choose Change View Properties
- Select the Lists tab
- Check Variable height rows
- Click on OK
- Close the Model view
Set Additional Containter Template Permissions
On the Contaner Template, click on the Permissions button and set the following Permissions

- Use View from Server
- Use Template View only
- Hide unapproved items
- All Users > Reader
Close and Save the container template
