Changing your Theme (FCWS SP2) |
FirstClass web services ships with the default "FirstClass" theme and uses a set of images and graphics that are complementary to that theme.
Though there are plans to make the theming of your site easier in the future, this document is an attempt to assist you in customizing the look and feel of your site to match the color scheme and graphics used by your organization.
The presentation of information in FCWS is done through html and CSS. A basic knowledge of both would be beneficial for anyone who plans to customize their site.
I recommend that you become familiar with Chrome's or FireFox's built-in developer tools.
These tools allow you to inspect elements in the page and see where the CSS is coming from so that you can modify it to match your theme.
You will also need some proficiency with a graphics editor so that you can modify the colors of the two default sprite images.
