Macintosh Installation

This section describes how you can install FCAS on a Macintosh computer. FCAS can be installed on the same server as your FirstClass Server and network store, or it can be installed on a separate computer. If installed on a separate computer, it will require two steps.

Installation on FCServer Computer

As with the Windows Installation, check your FC Updates folder for the FCAS4B4133 installer. This installer will be in the form of FCAS64OSX.dmg. Download and open the file to create the mounted volume.

Run the Installer

Run the installer and with both checkboxes selected, click on Install

FCAS Installation on a Separate Computer

FCAS acts as a Gateway to your FirstClass server. If you are going to be installing it on a separate computer from your FirstClass Server, you need to complete the installation in two parts. First, you would complete the previous step, but this time only choose the first checkbox.
