Server console reports 4117 error and client reports 1030 error when trying to log in - 8.1

You may also get the following in the server log:

Load: [12/21/2006 3:33:54 PM] Loading Admin configuration files Error 4117 - Access denied
Routes [12/21/2006 3:33:54 PM] Updating FCAS in route table Error 1081 - Not found
[12/21/2006 3:33:54 PM] Updating Inet in route table Error 1081 - Not found

Go to your FCNS folder and drill down to FCNS/U/_.
Look for ENinfo.
If this is a folder and the folder contains a file called ENinfo, please do the following steps to resolve the issue.
If it is not a folder or if it is not there, please contact support.

1. Shutdown the FirstClass Server application.
2. Rename the ENinfo folder (DO NOT DELETE IT).
3. Review your FCNS backups for an ENinfo FILE in the same location as you found the folder in your current FCNS.
4. Copy the ENinfo FILE from step 3 into the current FCNS/U/_ location.
5. Download the 8.2 upgrader from FirstClass Online and upgrade to that version. You don't need an upgrade license to do this.
6. Start the FirstClass Server application. You will not be able to login until the upgrade scripts are completed (you'll get a 1044 error).
7. After approximately 10-30 minutes (varies depending on your own FCNS content), you should be able to login and the issue should be resolved.
