Course Catalog
Users may access the online course catalog securely from home or work, any time. Ascriptica provides an optional web-based catalog view, allowing community members and participants outside your FirstClass environment access to designated courses. Catalog features include:

- Flexible Searches: Locate relevant courses by title, category, date range, location, and target audience

- Course confirmations: Send notifications for each course registration or withdrawal; send reminders before the first day of class; send notifications when minimum enrollment has been met.

- Wait lists: Automatically track waitlists and enroll participants as space becomes available

- Scheduling and Conflict Management: Support for addressing enrollment conflicts and placing course events on personal calendars
|
- Manage Progress: Easily sign up for tracks geared towards completing specific offerings within a specified timeframe to meet requirements such as internal certifications or program fulfillment.

Instructor Tools
Ascriptica assists instructors in their work by providing: |
- Class Management: View class rosters, wait lists, and use Ascriptica to send delayed or immediate email messages to all participants. Perform common functions such as message blasts and printing individually or in bulk.

- Sign-in Sheets: Generate sign-in sheets for each course to provide tangible proof of attendance
|
- Reporting: Designate course completion and credit, including partial credit if desired
|
- Name Tags: Print name tags to easily identify participants in the classroom
|
- Certificates: Print customized certificates of completion

- Roster Management: Add and remove class participants individually or by group; view and manipulate class waitlist
