Using the templates I made when doing the Casco Cats trophies I was able to create the basic hull rudder, centreboard and beginnings of the keel in one evening. Pretty good I think. This involved laminating a plank thick enough for the sheer lift, thickness planing the wood, marking the lifts, cutting them out on the band saw, aligning and doweling the lifts, gluing and clamping them together, marking and cutting out the keel, rudder and centreboard, routing out the centreboard slot, tapering the keel, thinning the cutout rudder and centreboard and spokshaving and sanding the hull. Whew.
