FirstClass Mass Mailer 4.0 Released

Dear customer,

After three years, I am happy to announce that a new version of FirstClass Mass Mailer is finally available. A lot of work has gone into this application, and I hope that you find some of the new features useful!

Enhancements in FirstClass Mass Mailer 4.0 Build 114:

• Speeded up uploading of large TAB delimited/CSV formatted files.
• Fixed bug when loading large number of FirstClass users from the directory.
• Updated forms to show progress while parsing large numbers of recipients.
• When selecting a mass mailer template, use the document subject (or document name if there is no subject) as default subject.
• Avoid bug in FCAS by not sorting more than 10,000 recipients. This may result in duplicate email addresses, unless uploaded file has been pre-sorted.

Enhancements in FirstClass Mass Mailer 4.0 Build 113:

• Fixed a bug while parsing certain invalid email addresses.

Enhancements in FirstClass Mass Mailer 4.0 Build 112:

• Fixed bug which caused creation of personal templates container to fail when finding multiple matches for a user ID.

Enhancements in FirstClass Mass Mailer 4.0 Build 111:

• Updated for FirstClass Application Services version 4.
• Added support for Swedish (final translation pending) and German.
• Get recipients from any Contact Database.
• Improved extended character support when using uploaded comma separated and TAB delimited files.
• New, more efficient way of dealing with attachments.
• Improved email address validation.
• Templates can be created in HTML with references to external images, providing total design freedom.
• Full mail merge capability when using FirstClass Contacts Databases.
• Use new FCAS 4 objects wherever possible, particularly for handling Contact Databases and the FirstClass Directory.
• No more licence keys necessary, just a simple registration process.
• Fixed field logic on Send Options form.
• Added automatic checks for software updates.

Enhancements in FirstClass Mass Mailer Engine 2.0 Build 93:

• Improved HTML formatting of messages.
• Fixed problem in processing unsubscribe messages.

Enhancements in FirstClass Mass Mailer Engine 2.0 Build 91:

• Updated for FirstClass Application Services version 4.
• Significant performance improvements.
• Fixed issue with formatting of automatically added disclaimers.
• Fixed issue that prevented messages with attachments that have extended characters in the filename from being sent.
• Recipients can now reply to mass mailings sent within the local FirstClass Server.
• Added support for attachments to template documents.
• Don't add test message to mass mailer report.
• Include pre-FC11 message bodies for old clients.
• Added support for raw HTML templates.
• Added automatic checks for software updates.
