Using the new Configuration form for external applications (see Installing External Applications for access to the new configuraton form), you can now have your external apps presented in the center pane when launched, rather than in a new window.
For example this is displaying the FirstClass website as an external app being displayed in the center pane of this FirstClass 12 site.
Installing the Application
1. Follow the instructions in the Installing External Apps section to create a new external application document.
2. Name your application FC Web Site (or any other name you choose)
3. Select Center pane from the Display selection type
4. Add the names of the groups to which you wish the application to be made available.
6. Click the image at the right to open it in a new window, then save as icon.png and attach it to the form
7. In the body of the document, paste the following html snippet.
NOTE: If you are running FCWS with an SSL certificate, recent changes to both Chrome and Firefox will only allow you to display other web sites in the iFrame if that site also has an SSL certificate installed.
